Garrett Reynolds, owner and operator of Bonnie Brae Welding, is a second generation metal fabricator. At age 12, Garrett began helping his father at his bronze foundry; welding, pouring bronze and creating metal sculptures. Working with his brothers and his father from an early age, he established a strong work ethic, as well as, a solid foundation for metal work. Though born in Boulder, CO, Garrett spent most of his youth in Joshua Tree, CA, living amongst his father's home based bronze foundry/architectural metal shop. At age 12, Garrett began working with his dad, a revered sculptor and metal artist, developing a solid foundation of metal work.
After Joining the California Conservation Corps and building recreational trails as well as low income housing for 3 years, he then went on to study underwater welding at the prestigious Santa Barbara City College. Garrett then joined a large structural steel company for 3 years, before joining the City of Santa Barbara Public Works department, as one of only 2 welder/fabricators. Having spent 12 years as the city welder, Garrett learned indispensable skills; building, installing and repairing equipment throughout the city across all departments.
Full circle back to Colorado to raise his family, Garrett began his re-entry into Colorado working for Junoworks, the largest Public Art fabrication firm in Colorado. Prior to opening Bonnie Brae Welding, Garrett rounded his experience working at a Journeyman level for the oldest welding / architectural sheetmetal company in Denver.
